When it comes to Jazz, a lot of people think of elevator music or just some laid back style of music. Well there is a form of Jazz called “Hot Jazz” which is known for its rapid tempos, intricate rhythms, and virtuosic solos. It also has an aggressive, improvisatory quality and a heavy swing feel. This piece demonstrates that Hot Jazz feeling with that warm/hot color combination and the results of being so HOT, things start to melt.
